Dr. Youssef Sedky graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry, Ain Shams University in 2002, specializing in Orthodontics where he earned his MSc. & Ph.D. He later achieved a Mastership in Lasers in Dentistry from Aachen Dental Laser Center (AALZ) and subsequently an MSc. Degree in Lasers in Dentistry from RWTH Aachen University, Germany.

Currently, Dr. Sedky holds the position of Assistant Professor in the Orthodontic department and serves as the Head of the Dental Laser Center at the Faculty of Dentistry, Misr International University, Cairo, Egypt. He is also affiliated academically with AALZ as an invited lecturer for the Master Professional program at SFU University, Vienna, Austria.

Dr. Sedky has lectured internationally in the Fellowship Program for Lasers in Dentistry by AALZ, covering countries including Egypt, Lebanon, and Romania. He frequently serves as an invited keynote speaker on Laser Dentistry at various international congresses.

• Member of the Egyptian Orthodontic Society

• Editorial Consultant and Reviewer for the Lasers in Dental Science Journal

• Editorial Board Member for the Journal of Fundamental and Clinical Research

Dr. Sedky holds an h-index of 4, with numerous international publications in Scopus-indexed journals.
