Dr. Ilay Maden completed his Ph.D. in Periodontology (2003–2009) at the University of Istanbul and earned a Master of Science in Lasers in Dentistry from Aachen University, Germany (2005–2007). In 2016, he registered with the UK General Dental Council (GDC) after passing the ORE statutory exams, and co-founded ONCLINIC on London’s Harley Street. He is also a certified life and health coach, working with dentists on personal and business development, and a co-founder of the International Academy of Innovative Dentistry.

He serves as a lecturer for AALZ, Sigmund Freud University, and the Catholic University of Sacro Cuore, Rome, and is a faculty expert at the Laser and Health Academy. He also acts as the UK Country Ambassador for the International Society of Laser Dentistry (ISLD).

Dr. Maden has conducted numerous theoretical and hands-on laser courses globally and has been a featured speaker at major international congresses over the past decade. He is on the editorial board of Lasers in Medical Science, Lasers in Dental Science, Laser magazine, and the Journal of Laser and Health Academy.

His work has been internationally published in both SCI-indexed and non-SCI journals. He is a member of multiple professional bodies, including:
